Who is it for?
The ITs Festival Amsterdam is a platform for graduating students from HBO accredited theatre and dance academies from the Netherlands, Flanders and similar academies abroad.

The performances presented at the ITs Festival Amsterdam represent specifically those academies that train the students to become theatre practitioners (i.e. actors, dancers) and/or theatre makers (i.e. directors, choreographers). The ITs Festival Amsterdam presents the following theatre disciplines: drama, cabaret, mime, musical theatre, opera, modern dance, classical ballet and jazz dance. The ITs Festival is the only festival that gives all graduating theatre school students the opportunity to present themselves to the theatre professionals, press as well as the audience. This makes the festival unique in its kind.

Programme for international theatre and dance professionals
For international programmes, scouts, festival organisers and theatre and dance school directors, ITs Festival Amsterdam has two guest programmes: the theatre route and the dance route. Each route consists of a variety of performances, meetings, workshops and afterparties. Guests have the opportunity to scout new talent and meet other professionals. In the past we have had, for example, directors from the ACT festival (Spain), SKENA-UP (Kosovo), Festival da Fabricá de Movimentos (Portugal) and Spectaculaire (France) select work from the ITs Festival Amsterdam.

The ITs Festival Amsterdam provides tickets for the performances. Travel costs, accomodation and food are at the guest's own expense. ITs Festival Amsterdam can offer a discount at the well known and centrally located IBIS Hotel.
